主讲人简介:
Dr. YAN WANG , Assistant Professor of Postharvest Physiology,Department of Horticulture Oregon State University.Dr. Wang received his training as a Postharvest Physiologist at Zhejiang University (M.S.) and The University of Georgia (Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Associate). He joined Oregon State University (OSU) as an assistant professor since 2012. Prior to taking his position in OSU, he was a Senior Scientist (Postharvest Physiologist) leading research on postharvest physiological disorders and pathological decay and their control in fresh produce in JBT FoodTech for 9 years. Dr. Wang’s current research focus is on preserving/improving fruit quality, reducing postharvest losses due to physiological disorders and pathological decays, and lengthening marketability of fresh fruit through (1) understanding the metabolic and physiological mechanism of fruit eating quality and storability of the existing and new cultivars; (2) developing postharvest chemical/non-chemical treatments and temperature/atmospheric storage and shipping conditions; and (3) improving horticultural practices.
